We have been known since the end of the 19th century for the constant development of our wood flooring products towards ever higher quality. The well-known three-layer construction is only one of many examples. Our investments in research and development have made us the leading manufacturer of wood flooring in the world today. Now we have taken two new and important steps in the development both of ourselves and of our wood flooring - steps that illustrate Tarkett's views on quality.
On the one hand we have produced the most durable lacquer for wood flooring. On the other we have developed a very stain resistant, UV-cured oil that is unique in the flooring world. Our lacquered and oiled wood floorings also have some important common denominators. Both are easily cleaned and offer long intervals between renovations. They are free from solvents and other environmentally harmful substances. And, of course, they are ready to use as soon as the floor is installed - they need no additional lacquering or oiling. So Tarkett wood flooring is convenient, safe and comfortable to live with right from the start.
Our respect for nature is infinite
